Fratelli Martini Secondo Luigi has always believed and invested in Italy’s oenological heritage and the socioeconomic fabric of that surrounds it and from which it draws its success. Preserving the land, cultivating the historical vineyards with the utmost respect and supporting the agricultural work in the fullest respect of the continuity of traditions are belief tenets that have always provided for great results. Harmony with nature and the positive development of the land and its people is of imperative importance.
The Martini Family has always loved - and done its utmost to preserve - the perfect designs of the vineyards that man has sculpted upon the soft hills of Langa, which has been recognised in 2014 as a World Heritage Site by Unesco with the “Vineyard Landscapes of Langa and Roero” denomination. The hills inspire and incite to go beyond their soft crests facing on the infinite, and Fratelli Martini cannot resist this call.
We import a variety of Fratelli Martini wines across three ranges: Canti, Casa Sant Orsola, Marchesini and Villa Elsa depending on the origin, price point and certifications.

The extraordinary adventure of Fratelli Martini Seconda Luigi started in the year 1947 with two young brothers Secondo and Luigi Martini, An intense love story amid high quality wine and sparkling wine that was born in the Langhe region, a land in which passion finds a geographically favourable environment.
They gave the name Saint Orsola to the wines they produced, the name of the saint in the small church that was built on the farmstead in which they were born. The company grew with time, but when its success went beyond the Langhe region and the Italian Boundaries, the deep relationship between Secondo and Luigi Martini, their homeland and the people that live and work in these lands, never disappeared.
Their two sons Gianni and Piero also determinedly followed this deep rooted philosophy, which is anchored to territory and family values and thanks to them, the company underwent a great technology and productive development, even though it never lost the freshness and enthusiasm of the first years.
This wine is produced with Sangiovese and Canaiolo Nero grapes.
The colour is ruby red tending toward garnet with ageing. The perfume is intense, vinous and with almond scents. The flavour is dry with fruity notes. It accompanies grilled and red meats. It is suitable for all courses. Serving temperature should be 18-20°C.
