Fratelli Martini Secondo Luigi spa – the family company of Gianni Martini operating on the market are the wine makers behind The Canti brand. The name is simple, immediate and deeply Italian. In 2011 Eleonora, Gianni’s daughter joined the Company bringing her fresh and stylish touch to the CANTI brand.
Canti entered the British market in 2002, bringing together the excellence of the Italian wine tradition aiming at offering a selection for every occasion: intriguing whites and rosè for freshness and lightness, full bodied reds and persuasive sparkling choices.
We import a variety of Fratelli Martini wines across three ranges: Canti, Casa Sant Orsola and Villa Garducci depending on the origin, price point and certifications.

The extraordinary company Fratelli Martini Secondo Luigi was established in 1947 by two young brothers. The real passion for still and sparkling wine quality was born in the Langhe region. Over the years the company grew, and its success went beyond the borders of Piedmont and then to the rest of the world
Vinification
Obtained from hand-harvesting of selected merlot grapes which are then de-stemmed and fermented in stainless steel vats for 12 days with selected yeasts and at 25°C. This preserves the perfume and spiciness typical of this varietal.

Winemaker's Notes
Full bodied with intense ripe black cherry flavours and delicate soft tannins. On the palate is ethereal and pleasantly spicy. Ideal with Pasta dishes, grilled red meats, BBQ Continental sausages and firm cheeses.
