Under family ownership for more than a century, the operation of Domaine Denis Tastet extends over a vineyard area of 62 hectares to the west of the department of Gers in the famous appellation "Bas Armagnac". On a local sandy soil, their vineyards cover soft hills and sunny slopes. It is here, in the land of the Armagnac in a preserved and authentic environment that the family respects the traditions of the soil and cultivates the vine with passion. The estate is planted with the noblest grape varieties: Gros/Petit Manseng, Colombard, Ugni Blanc, Sauvignon and for red wines the pairs of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot.

The climate is temperate and mild. The oceanic influence, wet, attenuated by the forest of the Landes, is most noticeable in the western Appellation. In the east, the Mediterranean climate is expressed with the winds of Autan.
