Vineyards around the town of Chinon in Touraine, under the Chinon AOC. Unually for the Loire valley, production in this are is almost entirely red wine, with a little rosé.
Soils are composed of chalk and clay. The soil components of the BEAUMONT en Véron village are very particular: wines are fruitier and crisp.
Harvest is mechanically realized with all the necessary measures to respect the quality of the grapes. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation occurred in concrete tanks dressed to assure an excellent thermal inertia. The wine is then filtered and matured in barrels. All the harvest is bottled at the property early April, in one time only, in order to preserve the fineness and the freshness of Cabernet Franc from Beaumont en Veron, with very typical fruit and elegance.
This wine has a nice shiny red ruby colour with golden tints. The nose is clear, with a dominance of red fruit with white pepper and cinnamon notes. With a round and elegant mouth, red fruit and raspberry aromas are dominant. It is better to serve this bottle at room temperature to appreciate all the powerful aromas and the extreme fineness of its bouquet.
