Vincent BOUZEREAU branched out and established his own estate in Meursault around 1990. He patiently acquired and restructured his vineyard plot by plot over the years, which now represents a total of 18 hectares within Côte de Beaune. The majority of his plots are located around the village of Meursault, but he also grows vines in Puligny-Montrachet, Monthélie, Auxey-Duresses, Volnay, Pommard, Beaune and on the little mountain of Corton. Vincent BOUZEREAU offers a unique range of 21 different wines; 10 white & 11 red – from Bourgogne AOC to 8 1ers Crus from Meursault, Auxey Duresses, Puligny Montrachet and Volnay and 2 Grands Crus from Corton “Clos des Fietres"
The vine is found at a place called "Sous le puits" in Blagny and covers 10 plants (40 acres) on a very stony soil exposed to rising sun.
Vine: Planted at 10,000 feet per hectare, manual green work, plowing 3 to 4 times per season to control weeds and disease control.
The grapes are picked by hand, slowly pressed and the must is left for 24 hours without enzyming. Alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts in a cool controlled temperature. 15 to 18 months in barrels of which 30% are new oak. Filtration before bottling.
Yellow-green in colour, the nose is discreet in its youth with fresh notes and evolves over time with more complex notes of citrus, flowers. The palate is fresh and well-balanced.

Since 1990, Vincent Bouzereau, anchored by family ties to Meursault, has exploited vines located in the Côte de Beaune villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Monthelie, Auxey-Duresses, Volnay, Pommard, Beaune, and AloxeCorton. These vines are planted to both red and white grapes, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay
Grapes are hand sorted at the sorting table, they are stemmed and put in open tank for the alcoholic fermentation with temperature control. No artificial yeasts added, exclusively indigenous yeasts to maintain the typicity of the terroir and of the vintage. Manual punchdowns and pumpings. The wine is then pressed and transferred to oak barrels. The soils are tilled, vines pruned in guyot simple, de-budding adapted to the age of the vineyard and its vigour, sustainable agriculture, manual harvest.
This wine is very charming when it is young and can age easily, developing more complexity with leather and undergrowth notes. Round, well-balanced and rich wine, with a good length. The mouth has red fruits notes.
