A territory, sweet hills sloping to the sea, where the grapevine gives wines of a unique and authentic character: this is what Bolgheri means to Casa di Terra, their home and their land.
Their families are committed to growing it since the 50s, following the traditional methods. Today they have invested their passion, dedicating themselves to the world of wine, helped by the territories and their nature. Working day by day with commitment they want to create wines which are able to spread their sacrifice and the spirit of these places.
The company Fattoria Casa di Terra was founded in 1950 by the grandparents of the current owners Julian and Jessica Frollani. Bolgheri, in the heart of Tuscany; these lands, originally dedicated to the cultivation of vegetables, olive oil and wine, left, over the years, more and more space to the vineyards to reach the final decision in 2001 to dedicate the entire surface of the land to the production of wine.
Fermented for 20 days in steel tanks with 6 months in oak barrels and a further 6 months in the bottle.
Moreccio is a modern wine that expresses all of the pleasures of the wines that come from the Tuscan coast; abundant aromas of red fruits, hints of vanilla and soft notes of spice. Smooth and silky tannins contribute well with just a touch of acidity to make what is a thoroughly rich and intense wine, pleasantly easy to drink and enjoy on its own.

The farm, located in the hills around Bolgheri, covers about 120 hectares, of which 30 are vineyards Bolgheri DOC and IGT Toscana. The land of vineyards is of medium texture with balanced layers of skeleton, clays and minerals which, combined with the commitment and dedication, have led to the creation of four labels of wine DOC Bolgheri Vermentino and three reds. Thanks to the company's position and its land and to a winning combination of location, soil and climate, the company Fattoria Casa di Terra produces wines of great quality. 25 days fermentation in steel tanks then 12 months in oak barrels and a further 6 months in the bottle.
The colour is deep ruby red with intense balsamic notes of mint and eucalyptus, very persistent, well integrated component of the fruity and floral wine with sweet tannins on the palate and well polished.
