In the early 18th century, the Milon wines became Château Lafite’s second wine. The Rothschild family purchased the château in 1962. From 1973 to 2001 the vineyard increased from 42 ha to 71 ha.

The grapes are aged in oak barrels for 14 months (50% new barrels).
Deep, dense colour. Notes of liquorice and cherry stones. Good on the palate, full-bodied and supple. Superb, elegant length.
