Southern Burgundy offers a varied landscape, sung by the native son Lamartine (French author). Between the Côte Chalonnaise and the hills of the Mâconnais, between the Saône and Grosne valleys, the estate extends over 22 hectares, spread across the villages of Chânes and Sologny.
In Sologny, the more siliceous and sandy soils allow Gamay to express a rich palette of aromas, with wines displaying a brilliant garnet colour.
Vineyards located in the Commune of Cercié. Clay-silt soils, south exposure at an altitude of 350m. High Environmental Value (HVE) certified.
Vinification with rigorous temperature control for gentle tannin extraction and the development of fresh fruit aromas. Two pump-overs are carried out daily to ensure proper oxygenation during fermentation.
Deep ruby colour, bright and clear. Expressive nose of ripe red and black fruits, with floral notes of violet and a touch of sweet spices. On the palate, the wine is smooth and generous, with silky tannins, lovely freshness and a long, elegant finish.
Contains: sulphites.
