About the job
You will be maintaining an existing customer base; incorporating the planning and evolving of wine lists, providing staff training to encourage up-selling, liaising with the office to ensure our customers receive a five-star service.
In addition, you will be constantly looking for new on-trade accounts; utilising your previous contacts, revisiting dormant accounts, actively seeking new sales opportunities.
Our successful candidates enjoy working with people and have a strong results-driven motivation.
In return, you can expect to receive a guaranteed income together with a profit-based bonus scheme, as well as full support from the head office team. Regular tastings will ensure you can build on your existing wine knowledge and be confident when promoting the portfolio. You will be based from home, with regular visits to our office in Cambridgeshire.
