Barolo is a great Piedmont classic, a red wine of extraordinary prestige and longevity, renowned for its imposing structure, pronounced tannins, and aromatic elegance that evolves with age. The 1976 vintage, while considered difficult, can today offer fascinating and unexpectedly complex profiles to those who appreciate mature wines.

The 1976 harvest in Piedmont is remembered as a particularly hot and dry year. Due to the arid climate, the vines suffered from water stress, which led to overall reduced yields, but with exceptionally ripe grapes, rich in sugars and with excellent concentration.

The important red wines (Barolo and Barbaresco) stood out for their great structure, firm tannins, and a robust alcohol profile. For their time, they produced long-lived wines, ideal for long cellar aging. Today, Piedmontese wines from 1976 (such as Barolo or Barbaresco) are considered true collector's items.

BARBARESCO 2006: The 2006 vintage has been described as a special vintage, comparable to 1999. The wines were tannic and powerful, with a depth of flavor ranging from dense fruit to more savory notes.

It is a wine that embodies the strength and structure of a special vintage. Made from Nebbiolo grapes and aged for four years in large Slavonian oak barrels, this wine is an oenological masterpiece. After aging in wood, the wine was stored in stainless steel until bottling, a process that gives it a special freshness. On the nose, notes of cherries and spices emerge, followed by nuances of tannins and a depth of flavor that ranges from dense fruit to more savory notes. On the palate, the wine is warm and juicy, with well-balanced tannins refined by aging. The structure is harmonious, with a perfect balance of acidity, savory flavor, and body.

The 2009 harvest in Piedmont is considered a very successful year, characterized by a hot and dry summer. The wines, particularly Barolo and Barbaresco, displayed a marked concentration of ripe fruit, evident yet rounded tannins, and proved particularly enjoyable to drink even when young.

The Barolo stood out for its power. Critics awarded it excellent scores. The Barolo Riserva received by Decanter the PLATINUM MEDAL, 95 POINTS, THE BEST BAROLO IN THE COMPETITION.

The 2009 Barolo Riserva is a wine that is both powerful and elegant. The ruby ​​color with orange highlights is complemented by a bouquet of enveloping aromas of ripe cherry, tobacco, and spice. On the palate, the tannins are silky, and the flavors of red fruit and spice create a complex and satisfying combination.
