This exceptional cuvee expresses freshness and maturity, complexity and richness, all at the same time. Rich gold and grey pearl, with hints of white fruit and ripe mandarin on the nose, a fruity palate with apricot flavours. Complex champagne, quite open and well balanced.
With a fine mousse and dark salmon hue, this Champagne greets
you with raspberry and strawberry aromas. What follows is deep,
intense and strong—all characteristically Veuve. To the base of
the Brut Yellow Label, winemaker Jacques Péters added a blend
of still red wine from specially cultivated Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier
and Chardonnay grapes to the blend. After three years of ageing,
flavours of dried fruit and Viennese pastries develop. Though light
on the taste buds, this wine is perfectly balanced and can be
enjoyed with food like white fish and light appetisers.
